Mrs. Shirley Refuah gained a wide, diversified experience during many years of service in the Israel Innovation Authority (formerly the Office of the Chief Scientist)  where she worked, for more than 18 years in several senior positions, as Advisor to the Deputy Chief Scientist (OCS) of the Ministry of Economy,  Director of International Relations & Cooperation for South East Asia, Senior Manager of the Singapore-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation (SIIRD) and as the Manager of the Korea-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation (KORIL-RDF).

 

Shirley has an extensive experience in companies’ evaluation, business assessment and technology scouting.  She has a profound expertise in R&D policy and how to create a “Knowledge Based” ecosystem with vast international experience, promoting Israel as an attractive target country for investment and collaboration, particularly in high-tech  industries.

 

Shirley has been a  Member of the Israeli Bar Association since 2000.  She holds an LLB, from Reichman University  and a degree in Political Science, from the  Tel Aviv University.
